Bean Stew with white beans

To prepare the white beans, soak them in water overnight. Peel and chop the onion and fry in oil in a pot until golden brown. Add the tomato paste and paprika powder. Then add the soaked beans and mix well. Meat can be added if desired.

In the next step, add water. Then season with salt and pepper, close the lid and simmer for 1.5 hours over medium heat. This process can be accelerated by using a pressure cooker.

To serve, put the stew in a bowl and decorate with parsley. A popular side dish for the bean stew is rice.
